Welcome to the Faculty of Social Health Sciences

The School of Social Health Sciences of the Miguel Hernández University of Elche was created in 2009 according to Decree 32/2009, of February 27, of the Consell, being located in the new Arenals building of the Elche campus .  

From the Faculty of Social and Health Sciences, the teachings leading to the Bachelor's degrees in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences and the Bachelor's Degree in Psychology are taught. This Faculty also offers different Master's degrees and a Doctorate program.

Both the Degree in Psychology and the Degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences are assigned to the branch of Health Sciences. However, given that they have a health aspect as well as another social aspect, which differentiates them from the rest of the degrees in the Health Sciences branch, these degrees are taught from the Faculty of Social and Health Sciences
